Paradox

 

I am the yes 

and I am the no 

I am the reason you took so long 

I am the love 

and I am the hate 

Trust me when you resort to wait

I am the vivid 

and I am the vague 

I am the reason it felt so strange 

I am the light 

and I am the dark

You chose to see in every spark

I am the question 

and I am the answer 

Between the lines, 

amidst the words and every space 

I am the so called paradox!!!

I am no poet 

and I bleed no poetry.

My pen would recount the tales

of many a verses

lost in a midway trance,

or the chances not taken

in the gamble of lies,

the midnight muse

and the bygone scribbles,

the stories told

and the stories untold!

I sometimes fear the battle of thoughts 

Urging me to flip a toss

Coz when I ink these words today

maybe you wouldn't know

but, I stammered all the way!!

A ReachOut to the Ocean

  

Oh the mighty ocean , 

You stretch far and vast

across the long horizon.

You keep the nature spellbound with thy charm you cast

And for the million years to come

let thy glory long last ! 

When as a symbol of supreme power, 

you give the mankind the real terror. 

With havoc and destruction  unleashed, 

You sweep from this world, the sins so feverish.

When as a symbol of serene calm

You light this world with a passion so warm. 

Thy radiance spread far and long

like the sun who bathes in you every dusk and dawn. 

Oh the mighty ocean...does your water, so calm and blue, 

hold secrets deep and true???

Coz, me, a man, struck by grief

wants to share his thoughts in brief

In thy mighty waves, let me swing and sway, 

so that my buried fears get carried away.

Oh the mighty ocean..it is you whom I favour, 

to be the real saviour ! 

Do relieve me the pain of worries

by lending thy ears if not in a hurry.

Do make me a man at ease

for that is all what I’d please. 

Oh hear me...thy mighty ocean,

as I reach out for you.

If thee be my saviour

blessed am I.

If thee be my saviour

saved am I !!
